Our Autumn/Winter Brochure is now available and enrolment for courses which will run between September and January is ongoing..
We have a wide range of courses available from creative ones like art, , knitting and drawing to personal development such as anger management and dealing with stress.
Our one day Saturdays include workshops on Creative Writing, Art Therapy; Forgiveness. Relaxing body and soul, The power of Now and Flower arranging.
It also details our Counselling service which is donation based. Both our full time and part time psychotherapists are IACP accreditated. We take referrals from doctors and other professionals as well as self referrals. Contact 0719170329 for details or to make an appointment.
Separated and Bereaved Families
Understanding, support and hope are available to all in the following programmes:
- Beginning Experience
- Rainbow Programme
- Bereavement Support
The Rainbow programme begins in early January and runs for 12 weeks each Tuesday night from 6.30 to 7.30. It is facilitated by trained volunteers and aims to help children who are bereaved by the death of a parent/guardian or by the divorce/separation of their parents. This programme is taking enrolments now and names for inclusion need to be with us by end of November
My Way of Grieving, our Bereavement Support group will run for 6 weeks beginning on Tuesday 11th October. This group helps people cope with the normal process of grieving
Beginning Experience begins in the Centre on Tuesday 27th September at 8pm. This programme is designed to help people who are separated and widowed make a new beginning in life. It offers healing, an opportunity to appreciate ones own goodness and find hope for the future. The programme will meet on alternative Tuesdays and further details can be got by contacting 0719170329
A Meditation group will continue to meet in the centre in the coming year at 11 am. Check our brochure for details
Senior Citizens
We welcome our Senior Citizens to social evenings involving activities of their choice, always including tea, chat and music..
Suicide Support
Library
Books and videos on family relationships, parenting, personal development, bereavement, spirituality and other areas of interest can be borrowed for a period of two weeks
